Happy Wednesday friends, can you believe we’re half way through the week?! As excited as I am for the weekend ahead, I really wish summer would slow down (just a tad, please!) While a part of me refuses to accept the fact that summer has to end at some point, I really am excited about the next few months ahead, specifically cooler/less humid temps. Which brings me to today’s post and my love of this kimono wrap from Show Me Your Mumu….
If you’re new around here, Show Me Your Mumu is one of my favorite brands for fun, bright printed items. Their rompers/dresses/tops are some of my favorite clothing pieces to wear year round (right up there with my beloved Lilly of course 😉 )
So when I spotted this kimono (on sale!), I knew I had to have it. Not only is this kimono perfect to dress up in the summer with white denim (like my favorite distressed pair for 23!), but it also would work well as a swim coverup. Even better, the gorgeous paisley pattern will transition easily into the fall. Pair the kimono with dark denim and booties once the temperature drops just a little, for a simple/chic look!
Needless to say, I’m obsessed with this kimono and plan on styling it multiple ways in the next few months (I’m even thinking about how comfy this would be for airport travel <3)

Here I am wishing for summer to be over haha and you are hoping it slows down! I am dying in 100 degree weather though!
I really love this look! I’ve never worn a kimono but it seems like a nice way to cover a top that may be a little too revealing for work without dying from heat stroke!
