I am so excited for today’s post and to share these amazing pictures of Libby’s nursery from our lifestyle session with Lindsey Martin. We took these pictures when Libby was about a month old. After working with Lindsey for our Fresh 48 session, I had no doubt that she would work her magic!
At this point, Libby definitely was not on any type of schedule. It was interesting trying to get her ready for the session. We attempted to time it up to feed her RIGHT before, but she woke up from her nap early…..which threw everything off! Anyone who has had a newborn, I’m sure can relate.
Libby was a trooper though, and we made it through! Mommy even managed to get herself ready in under 30 minutes which is also a major win.
We chose to do a lifestyle session because I wanted more casual pictures in our home. I also wanted some nice shots of Libby’s nursery – one of my favorite rooms in the house. The room turned out even more perfect than I imagined, and I hope Libby grows to love it as much as I do.
When we found out we were having a girl, I immediately knew I wanted the theme of the nursery to be blush pink, gold, and ivory. I wanted to create a relaxing, cozy environment. A space that all of us could enjoy spending time in.
I’ve admired Serena and Lily wallpaper for years……so Libby’s nursery seemed like the perfect opportunity to bite the bullet and splurge! I came across this print and instantly fell in love. We decided to just wallpaper a feature wall, and it turned out so beautiful. Truly a staple in the room.
For those interested, I tried to source everything and put it in one place. A few things are out of stock (like Libby’s beautiful gold bookshelf), but most pieces I was able to find! Of course, let me know if you have any questions:
Wallpaper – Beyond beautiful in person
Blackout Curtains – Gorgeous color and great quality
Gold Curtain Rod – Really pretty in person
Monogram Pillow – I love supporting Etsy sellers and this adds the perfect touch to Libby’s room!
Framed Ultrasound Art – Another Etsy find that I love so much. I gave this to Myles for Father’s Day
Mirror – I bought this several years ago and it fits this space perfect
Crib – A gift from my sister <3 Love how it grows with age
Mattress – I did a ton of research and felt very comfortable with this highly breathable option
Rocker – A splurge that we found at the outlet. Highly recommend checking out a PB outlet near you
Baskets – I’ve loved these for years and was so excited to get them for the nursery! You can even monogram them
Small Baskets – These are such a steal and come in several sizes. I have them throughout our house.
Dresser – Another splurge, but she’ll have this for years
Plant – Took this from my office, but it fits here perfect. Why is finding the perfect plant so hard??
And before I sign off, I have to share where Libby’s outfit is from š Libby is wearing a romper from Janie and Jack. They make the sweetest pieces. She’s also wearing one of her favorite bows from Stevie J’s. Mommy is wearing this dress, which was also a favorite during pregnancy (only $69). Super flattering on all body shapes- even postpartum!
Unit next time!
